Dear Parents and Guardians,
This week was filled with fun, fanfare and friendships. We are proud of our elementary students and the kindness and appreciation they show for others. We are also proud of the maturity our middle school students showed in hosting our first supervisory union event for their peers. Lastly, we are filled with pride for all of our hard working HS students who outscored their competitors from around the state while competing with their academic team or their sports team.
We hope you and your family have a great weekend.

K-5 Halloween Parade! - We are excited to announce that we are planning a Halloween parade for our K-5 students on Monday, October 31st. This parade will take place from 12:45-2:00pm.
We will line up by grade level on the turf and begin our parade down Ascutney St., State St., Main St., then walk back up Union St. and return to school! We will have involvement from our local Police and Fire Departments as they participate in this exciting event for our students.
Students are welcome to wear school-appropriate costumes that do not depict blood, gore, violence, or weapons. No costume masks will be allowed. Students are also welcome to participate in crazy hair day or wear their cozy pajamas, as a costume alternative. Please send your child to school wearing sneakers, so that they can safely participate in this event!
We are inviting you to find a spot along Ascutney St., State St., Main St., or Union St to watch and wave as our students walk by showcasing their costumes, crazy hair styles, and pajamas! This will be an exciting event for our students and we look forward to seeing you there!
Elementary Leadership Assembly - Please join us on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month in the school theater for our elementary assemblies.
Walk to School Wednesdays will meet every Wednesday at Price Chopper and the Fairgrounds at 7:20am. We hope you will join us.

Students from across our SU enjoyed the evening with many line dances, sing-alongs, great food (thank you parents), and great friends, with many new friendships made.
Passion Period - This week students are researching their OWN TRUE passions. Students will spend the next 3 weeks researching their highest interest and will then follow through with the passion they researched.

Booster Club
The Windsor Area Booster Club is a small and committed group of parents and community members that are striving to support our students outside the classrooms. We primarily focus on providing concession stand support at the fall and winter athletic events. Those funds are then returned to the students throughout the building by means of supporting the Science Fair, March Intensives,.... and annual senior scholarships. Our success is in large part due to the new partnership system we have formed in having athletic teams, grade levels, or smaller clubs working our concession stands so that those funds can be shared and returned directly to them.
