MRA Leader In Me Survey
Our supervisory union is moving forward with our Leader In Me implementation plan. Leader In Me is a process that teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. We are looking for parent, student ( grades 3 and up) and staff feedback on this leadership program and ask that you please complete the parent survey link below. Also, if you do not wish for your child to participate in the student portion of the survey, please refer to the opt-out section of the attached letter and contact an administrator.

Elementary News
Our LiM assembly series continues! Please join us on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month to celebrate our students' leadership here at Windsor School. This week, Ms. Krieg's class shared video skits of the 7 habits at work in our school. Students are integral in the planning and running of these assemblies - leaders at every turn! This week we also had the excitement of our back again, PTO sponsored book fair! Lots of smiles as we get back to some of the popular events Windsor School loves.

The 8th grade class was invited to tour the Hartford Area Career & Technology Center (HACTC) this past week. Students were engaged and excited to see the various technical programs and classroom tours that our middle school students might be interested in attending when they get to high school. Thank you to Ms. Vivian for organizing this great day.
Student Leaders - We are proud of the following 8th grade students who have recently signed up to join various committees as middle school representatives, Marz Percy, Jocelyn Wrightson, Isaac Burklund, Isabella Mouser, Grace Blanchard, and Amanda Riley. Thank you leaders.

The deadline is Dec 15th. Flexible Pathways Newsletter: International and National Travel opportunities
Leader in Me: Jeff Bachey and Kim Brinck-Johnsen have taken lead in adapting the Leader in Me program for the HS. "Windsor Pathfinders" is a pilot group of students drawn from the Windsor HS Student Council that has been the meeting with LIM trainer Barbara Lindtner to develop their leadership skills, and to begin creating lasting change in the building. The plan is that year's group of Pathfinders will work with a new cohort of students next year, and thereby pass on, and grow, student engagement and leadership capacity in the building. This lines up with the goals outlined in our strategic plan.
