Dear Parents and Guardians,
Enjoy your weekend with family and what makes you happy. We hope you can join us on Thursday night for our school-wide Literacy Night beginning at 5:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. Students and staff have many wonderful things to share with you.
This Friday there is no school due to our WSESU Inservice Day. Staff members from all four supervisory schools will be participating in many trainings to strengthen and sharpen our skills and learning. We hope this allows your family to enjoy a longer weekend of rejuvination.

Elementary News
Winter came back and we got to ski! Many thanks to the entire K-5 team for making our AO day a great one. It has certainly been a turnover this March... In addition to the ski day, our students have been out enjoying the beautiful winter on snowshoes and sleds all over our campus and Paradise Park. Its been great fun to see all our students getting out and enjoying the newly returned winter! (You can probably tell that I am a big fan of winter)
We are back on this coming Friday for our LiM assembly series! We hope you can join us just after 8 on Friday in the Auditorium. Also coming up soon... Spring conferences and book fair number 2! Stay tuned for more details.
Lastly, a quick reminder re drop off and morning recess. The school day begins at 8. We have supervision on the playground and for indoor breakfast in the Elem cafeteria/gym starting at 7:40am. Please remind your student(s) that if they are here at school between 740-8:00am they will need to be in one of these two supervised spaces. Many thanks in advance for the support!

High School News
Social Media Kindness: We all know that students are navigating a world very different from ours. In the past two months there has been a general uptick in anonymous unkind pages on Instagram - these pages post unflattering pictures taken and posted without approval and ask for public ratings of students looks among other things. We are reporting these to Instagram and working on getting social media education in the building. We are always happy for any outside expertise. Teachers and staff are having ongoing conversations around kindness. Given the ease and anonymity around posting, I think students are unaware of the impact the pictures and posting have on individual students. The students are seeing these postings and are hurt. We can do better.
