Principal's Note

Sunday, March 15, 2020

Dear Windsor School Students, Families, Faculty and Friends,

Thank you all for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times. By now you have all seen Governor Scott’s directive that all Vermont schools be closed by Wednesday, March 18th, 2020. You should have also received a message from Superintendent David Baker which outlines important information pertaining to the closure of all Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union schools. Undoubtedly, this news raises questions and some level of anxiety. These measures are a means for preventing and reducing the spread of COVID-19.

School administration and faculty have and will continue preparing alternate methods for students to access their learning. We are fortunate that all WSESU students have 1 to 1 access to laptops where they will be able to access online learning. We encourage all students to stay in contact with their teachers and engage in the learning alternatives that will be made available to them. School counselors, We R Hope and myself will be available via email and virtual conferencing if needed. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns. We are all in this together.

Superintendent Baker will continue to send out updates and guidance. In the meantime, take care of yourself, your family and others. I will be holding all of you in my thoughts and heart.

Respectfully,

Tiffany Riley
Windsor School Principal
